How to invite a non-Nigerian for immigration purposes

Are you planning to invite a non-Nigerian into the country? Then you need to know how to invite a non-Nigerian for immigration purposes. If you have a friend, colleague or business partner that wants to come and see you in Nigeria , the first thing you need to do is to make sure that the person has all the necessary documents required to be able to secure a visa at the Nigerian consulate in his country. This is to ensure that the only thing left for him/her to get would be the invitation letter.

To write the invitation letter, you have to ensure that the following points are covered in the letter:

·         Your name as it appears on your passport

·         Your passport number

·         The name of the person you are inviting as it appears on the persons passport

·         State your relationship with the person

·         The duration of stay of the visitor

·         You also have to state that you are financially capable to take care if him/her

·         If you are not taking care of the visitor financially, state it clearly

·         You also have to state if the visitor is going to be living with you or not

·         You address, place of work and how long you’ve worked there should also be included in the letter

·         Finally, you will have to attach bank statements to back up your claims

By the time you have written all these things together you will have an invitation letter ready. Now, to even make things easier for you, I have put together an invitation letter for you below. Feel free to copy it and edit as you deem fit.
